1. How does my TruCa$h Prepaid MasterCardĀ® differ from traditional loyalty cards?
Traditional loyalty cards allow you to accumulate points for using their cards. The phenomenal benefit of holding a TruCa$h card is you can convert your earned points to CASH and use that cash at any merchant that accepts debit. You can also share additional funds from your own bank account onto your TruCa$h card
2. How is my TruCa$h card better than cash?
- Your TruCa$h card has a debit-function that can be used at any ATM or merchant debit.
- Cash withdrawals and purchases are automatically converted into your local currency.
- If stolen or lost, your TruCa$h card can be replaced.
- Your TruCa$h card can be safely sent through the mail.
3. When can I begin using my TruCa$h Card?
Immediately.
4. Where can I use my TruCa$h Card?
At any merchant that accepts MasterCard debit cards.
5. Are there any limits on how much money I can load on my TruCa$h Card?
Yes. There is a maximum load amount of $2500.
6. Are there any limits on how much I can purchase with my TruCa$h Card or withdraw from my card account in a single transaction?
To prevent fraudulent transactions, daily limits will be imposed. Guidelines are based on standard bank restrictions. The card can be used up to the available balance of the card for purchases and can be used to get $500 from an ATM per day.
7. Can I use my TruCa$h Card at an ATM?
Yes.
8. How can I ensure that my TruCa$h Card will always work at a retail terminal?
Make sure you register your card online at www.trucash.com, have sufficient funds in your account to cover your purchase, and ensure you protect the magnetic stripe on the back of your card.
9. Will my TruCa$h Card expire?
There is a 36 month expiration date on the card.

1. How do I earn points with my TruCa$h card?
- Swipe your card at any participating TruCa$h merchant near you.
- Login to www.trucash.com and shop online at our extensive online mall.
- Book your next trip with our travel department.
- Using our 1-800 services.
2. Do I earn points on every purchase?
Yes. Restrictions may apply where prohibited by law.
3. After I make a purchase, when will the points I've earned appear in my account?
Points will appear in your account 2-5 business days after the sale.
4. Will I still be able to return and get a refund for things I buy with my TruCa$h Card?
Yes. Using a TruCa$h Card to pay for your purchase does not alter the store's refund policy. Points on initial purchase will also be deducted.
5. Are my points transferable from an old card to the new one?
Yes.
6. What can I do with my points?
You can convert your points to cash or redeem them for gift certificates available through the TruCa$h gift certificate program.
7. What is the process to activate the debit function of my card?
Once you register as a new member at www.trucash.com, you must enter all mandatory information requested in your profile in order to comply with banking Interac requirements. Then, click the "submit" button, review the Cardholder Agreement, and click "I accept". Click the "submit" button below, and your card is now activated as a debit card.
8. After I activate the debit function on my card, how do I access my cash account?
Log onto www.trucash.com to view and manage your E-Wallet. After you login, you can click on e-Wallet Learn More, then Open my e-Wallet.
9. What is the process to convert my points to cash?
- Activate the debit function of your TruCa$h card by visiting www.trucash.com. Once activated, visit the Conversion Page. You can choose to have your points converted to cash automatically on a permanent basis, or convert your points to cash upon that
particular visit.
- Enter all of the mandatory information requested on your profile, in order to comply with banking Interac requirements.
- After you login, click on "Convert Points to Cash" or click here
10. Once I've converted my points to cash, can I convert them back to points?
No.
11. How long does it take my "convert points to cash" request to be processed?
Once you click on "submit", your points will be converted to cash and funds will be credited to your account for your immediate use.
12. Where can I redeem my points for gift certificates?
Under the Redeem tab of our website, you'll find a list of a variety of merchants, both offline and online where gift certificates are available. Once decided, if you want to redeem your points for gift certificates with one of our offline merchants, call customer service at 1-800-624-6171 and place your order. To redeem your points for gift certificates with one of our online merchants, you can order them directly online by clicking Redeem, Online Merchants, and click 'Redeem' next to the gift certificate of your choice.
13. Do my points ever expire?
Any account with an existing point's balance and no activity for 12 consecutive months may be subject to a nominal service fee except where prohibited by law. Service fees shall only apply as long as the account remains inactive.
14. How many points do I need to redeem for cash or gift certificates?
- The cash conversion is based on the conversion table under "convert points to cash" section of the website.
- A minimum of 5,500 points is required for a $10.00 gift certificate.
15. Do the gift certificates ever expire?
Gift certificates from retailers will have expiration dates varying from 1 and 5 years.

Go to the Account tab on the home page of TruCa$h, then click on 'Cash', or call 1-800-624-6171.

1. How secure is my money with TruCa$h?
Nobody can access your cash without your Personal Identification Number (PIN). You will receive a Personal Identification Number (PIN) with your TruCa$h card. This PIN is the number you will use at an ATM to withdraw funds. No one can access your cash without your PIN, so protect it diligently.
2. Can I choose a new PIN?
No.
3. What happens if my TruCa$h Card is lost or stolen, or I forget or lose my PIN?
Call TruCa$h customer service at 1-800-624-6171 and they will cancel and replace your TruCa$h Card. You will have to follow the same activation procedures as you followed with your first TruCa$h Card.
4. Can someone else use my TruCa$h Card?
No.
5. Is the TruCa$h website secure?
Yes. TruCa$h has a secure site.
6. Does TruCa$h know my PIN?
No.
