Control of Personal Information
As part of
your participation in the TruCa$h Rewards program, DCR allows you to elect to
receive certain information and emails from TruCa$h and its service partners.
There are two types of information sent to TruCa$h customers: 1) account-specific
information and 2) promotional and customer feedback information.
Account-specific
communications include information that is essential for you to utilize the
TruCa$h service properly. This includes the initial welcome mail describing
features and operation of the TruCa$h site. It also includes any communications
describing any changes or updates to your TruCa$h account. Because account-specific
communications are essential to providing you with the most current information
on TruCa$h services, these types of communications are sent to all TruCa$h
customers when appropriate. You will not be able to unsubscribe from such
mailings.
Promotional and customer
feedback information includes special promotional offers, sweepstakes,
contests, and/or customer surveys. You have the ability to opt-in to this type
of information by setting your email preferences within your Account Profile
section of the web site. You have the ability to change your email preferences
at any time (see below for further detail on how to do this).

Security of your Personal Information
To prevent
unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy and ensure the appropriate use of
information, we have established and maintained appropriate physical,
electronic, and managerial procedures reasonably designed to safeguard and
secure the information we collect online. Personnel who have access to our
database are trained to maintain and secure all information.
DCR secures
your personal information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. DCR
secures the personally identifiable information you provide on computer servers
in a controlled, secure environment, protected from unauthorized access, use or
disclosure. When sensitive personal information (such as address and phone
number) is transmitted over the Internet, it is protected through the use of
encryption, such as the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol. Please notice the
GeoTrust trust mark present on every page of our site. SSL
certificates from GeoTrust®
are the ultimate online security and trust solution delivering both 256-bit
encryption and the True Site™ trust mark providing third-party
web site identity validation. The presence of SSL means you can rest assured
that communications (e.g. credit card numbers) between your browser and this
site's web servers are private and secure when the SSL session is activated.
Use of Cookies
The TruCa$h
web site does require you to enable temporary cookies (sometimes called
"session cookies") to utilize our site. This simply enables us to
identify you after you have logged in so that you can manage your TruCa$h
Rewards account, earn and spend points.
A temporary cookie is a
text file that is placed on your hard disk by a web page server during the
duration of your visit to our site. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or
deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you, and can
only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you.
You have the ability to
accept or decline cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but
you can usually modify your browser setting to decline permanent and/or
temporary cookies if you prefer. If you choose to decline temporary cookies
("session cookies"), you will not be able to use the TruCa$h web site
to manage your account or to earn and spend points.
Use of Privacy Statements by TruCa$h
Partners and Affiliates
You should
carefully examine the privacy statements of sites linking to or from TruCa$h
web sites. Personal information that you choose to provide to other web sites
will be subject to the privacy policies of that specific web site.
Use of Third Party Ad Networks
The
advertisements you see on the TruCa$h web sites are displayed by DCR. We do not
use third party ad networks. Many of the links from the TruCa$h site to our
affiliated online merchants pass through third party sites known as affiliate
program enablers or aggregators. The primary enablers for our affiliate
merchants are LinkShare, Commission Junction and Performics.
Use of Web Beacons
TruCa$h pages
may contain electronic images known as web beacons, sometimes called
single-pixel gifs, that allow our affiliated online merchants to count users
who have visited those pages. Web beacons are not used to access your
personally identifiable information on the TruCa$h web sites and services; they
are a technique used by our merchant partners to compile aggregated statistics
about TruCa$h web site usage. Web beacons collect only a limited set of
information including a cookie number, time and date of a page view, and a
description of the page on which the web beacon resides.
Disclosure/Receipt of Personal Information:
“You
authorize DCR to only disclose to third parties information you have provided,
or information that DCR has obtained about your TruCa$h account or shopping
behavior: (i) to agents and licensors of DCR or its affiliates, such as
independent auditors, consultants or attorneys; (ii) to comply with government
agency or court orders or requests; (iii) in providing aggregated and
non-personalized marketing services for an advertising or merchant partner, or
(iv) where it is necessary for redemption or transfer of your cash back
rewards. Further, you authorize DCR to receive any account information from any
Affiliate Merchant including, but not limited to information regarding purchase
made, products ordered, order number, the time and date the purchase occurred,
the email address entered for the purchase. You agree to hold the Affiliated
Merchant harmless for any information disclosed to DCR. By participating in our
program, you allow DCR to collect and use non-personalized marketing
information regarding visits related to, and purchases made from internet
commerce sites.”

DCR will
occasionally update this Privacy Statement to reflect company and customer
feedback. When DCR posts changes to this Statement, we will also revise the
"last updated" date at the top of the Privacy Statement. If there are
material changes to this Statement, DCR will notify you by placing prominent
notice on the web site. DCR encourages you to periodically review this
Statement to be informed of how we are protecting your information.
